Creative Intern

Description

We're looking for a highly motivated intern to join us full time in our studio for a period of at least 2 months You should be passionate about gaming and the games industry and willing to commit yourself to the role and the industry.Mediatonic is a rapidly evolving Flash games development studio focusing on premium web games. Based in the heart of the West End, our experienced team of 15 produce high quality games to advertise and entertain for leading companies and world-famous brands such as Sega, EA and Sierra.This is an unpaid position designed to help students or recent graduates break into the games industry through gaining real world experience. A small daily supplement will be available to cover food / travel costs.

Necessary Skills

- An in-depth knowledge of games with a passion for playing them
- Can demonstrate deep commitment to the role and keen to prove yourself in a working environment
- Have a hands-on approach to work and are overflowing with energy

Desirable Skills

- Technical experience with Flash and other relevant technologies
- Good eye for design and able to put together attractive documents and presentations

You'll have to

- Take an active role in concept brainstorms & creatively throughout the course of games projects
- Put together mood boards, compositions and reference material
- Help sourcing artwork, fonts, sounds and other media for our games
- Perform through testing and quality assurance on games projects in development
- Where possible assist members of our team by creating new assets for use in our games
