Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess! Update

Hello all!

We're really sorry for the quiet front recently - we've had an unfortunate delay with the release of "Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess!" and we just wanted to update you on how we're progressing!

We basically had a technical issue raise its head right at the end of the quality assurance testing and our team have been working very closely with Sony to figure it out and fix it. But until very recently it wasn't possible for us to estimate at all when we might be able to launch, which is why we've been a bit quiet.

The good news is that there is now light at the end of the tunnel and we're ready to resubmit the game to QA. We're very hopeful that we will now be able to launch at the end of this month, or very early in April.

Thank you all for your encouragement and support - we really can?t wait to get the game out there! It's a massively exciting time for us and we'll be keeping the blog updated with the latest news.

We will also be creating some "behind the scenes" releases for when the game launches, with details and images of how "Monsters (Probably) Stole My Princess!" first came about.

If anyone has any questions about the development that they'd like to ask, please let us know and we'll do our best to include them!

In the meantime, we?ve got some additional, unreleased screen-shots of one of the levels to share with you - hope you like them!

Thanks again for your support and patience!

Nomster in the (fuzzy) flesh!

We just had an amazing delivery to the office - it's a real life plushy Nomster, the star of MUST. EAT. BIRDS.

Nomster3.jpg

This beautiful little fella was sent to us by artist and monster plushy creator "Love & A Sandwich".

http://www.etsy.com/shop/loveandasandwich

Not only does he make passers-by go "Awwww! Look! His eyes are even facing in the wrong direction!" but he also has a PRACTICAL use as well: since we got him not even a SINGLE ONE of our cakes has been stolen by scheming (but cute) birds.

Amazing.

This month at Mediatonic

We're playing...

Unreal Tournament

A blast from the past, we're having regular UT tournaments every lunchtime. Deathmatch and Capture the Flag are office favourites.

Steamweavers

With the game so close to launch, we've been spending way to much time absorbed in office-battles. Hopefully that's a good sign.

We're watching...

Top Gear

Everyone has now seen every episode at least 3 times.

One Piece

The greatest anime series of all time without question. We want to make a game about Pirates.
